Maths ♥

Having a chilly evening at home is the best what I can actually do. I am about to proof a thought about maths, which I got on tuesday at school. Right now I re-thought my system of solving squares of complex numbers, I got three new assumptions and am proofing the latest one of examples because the ones before were wrong or to say it better they didn't work on all examples. So it is a bit complicated but I hope for a good grade in my mathematics seminar :)
Among this I am drinking self-made latte macchiato and am surfing through facebook which is actually good for not ending up in frustration because one solving isn't working. But I love maths, tbh, and it is really interesting. My solution formula is atm working on every complex number exept on one, but the numbers I got are squared not the complex number for which I want to calculate those, so I guess there is the mistake. Anyway I am trying to find this error to make my solution formula complete or improve it to write my kind of extra additional seminar labor :)
You can clearly see the difference between the both photos, the one I took after continuing my work and the other one before I stopped to go to bed, I mean, it's already half past two in the night! I hope you have a great evening/night, too! :)

Btw, it's CHRISTMAS EVE :3

December 22, 2012

I was partying at Paulis Blue Oyster Bar with my wonderful friend in the town I am living and it was a great night with nice music and a stunning atmosphere, though I was scared of dying due to the very icy, slippery streets. But I survived December 21st and saw so many good friends who prettyfied my night!
I hope you did, too, and you're going to read my blog regularly as long as I have the opportunity to post articles!
Love you guys,

Christmas Commercials 2012

I love christmas time and I love christmas adverts.
They are the only ones who can be "crazy", I am not a big fan of "normal" adverts because they are unreal or exaggerated. But watching christmas ads is putting me in the holiday mood. Here are some nice ads for christmas, enjoy them! :)
I hope you're going to have a great christmas! :)

The Pretty Reckless - Kill Me

Taylor Momsen and her band did a great job with their new single "Kill Me". It is rather rock than alternative, but it sounds so good. I have put into my music bar above my blog, it is the first song out of ten, you can listen to them. I personally love the new song, the melody is great and I love Taylor's voice. It is aggressive, emotional, harsh, and also some kind of soft. The lyrics are optimistic, deep, touching, but also depressive, in my opinion. I love them anyways! Visit their website for more information: The Pretty Reckless

Here are the lyrics:

Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone

Let me open up the discussion with
I’m not impressed with any mother fucking word I say
See I lied that I cried when he came inside
And now I’m burning a highway to Hades
Shut the fuck up
When I'm trying to think
I got to keep my concentration give me one more drink
And then I’ll try to remember all the advice that my good book told me
And all the lost souls say...

Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
(Kill me just kill me)
Or get me out of the sun
Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
(Kill me just kill me)
Someone get me out of the sun

Drugs, bars, backseats of cars, blowing boys
What a boring life I've led so far
Just a prime pop thirteen when I rode his machine
Tried to keep my body dirty and my eyes closed and clean
So with a wink and smile and a vial of meth
I took his hand and we walked through the shadow of death
And then I try to remember all the advice that my teacher told me
And all the lost souls say...

Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
(Kill me just kill me)
Or get me out of the sun
Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
(Kill me just kill me)
And get me out of the sun
Someone get me out of the sun
Someone get me out of the sun

Deep, deeper, deeper inside
Pull the wool nice and tight so that it covers your eyes
Can't find a God, a love, a Jesus, a father
I don't even care that much
So why do I even bother?
So let me just end how I was gonna begin
Don't waste your time waiting cause I'm going back in
Now if I could just remember all the advice that my mother told me
And all the
And all the lost souls say..

Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
(kill me just kill me)
Or get me out of the sun
Every day I wake up
Every day I wake up alone
(kill me just kill me)
Just get me out of the sun
(kill me just kill me)
Someone get me out of the sun
(kill me just kill me)
Someone get me out of the sun

November 15, 2012

A long time ago my attention was drawn to the latest collaboration by H&M: Maison Martin Margiela.
I love the former eyewear collections and the Fall/Winter 2011 line was gorgeous, too, but sometimes it's just a bit too outré or extravagant (see the SS11 collection). I like how the Belgian fashion designer puts extraordinary objects into fashionable pieces. And this time he really made an efford on how tho make strange items of clothing into some modern, special it-pieces! Both the men and women ready-to-wear collections are wonderful. The clothes are either oversized or merged from two different parts. It's obviously not the style of everybody because some articles are really crazy, but a few are very beautiful. You can look up the collaboration on HERE or HERE.

Halloween Makeup N°. 2, 3 & 4

Here are the three other makeup styles. I don't know if you like them but I was highly inspired by them!
First I'm going to talk about the "Doll"-makeup. Of course it would be better to have blonde hair but I had no opportunities within the last two days to get blonde hair. Anyway, I'll tell you what I did. First I applied my usual foundation (as mentioned in the last post) and put some lighter powder on, too. I also covered my lips with concealer. I drew a kind of heart on my lips with the red pencil by Faber Castell (also mentioned in the last post, just scroll down to read). I used the black pencil to paint a few dots onto my cheeks. Then I put mascara onto my lashes, I colored my inner lid with kajal eyeliner and lined my upper lid with eyeliner which I connected in the eyecorner with the kajal eyeliner (sorry for repeating "eyeliner" far too often!). I put some white eyeshadow under my brows as a highlighting effect!

The "Vampire" look is simple and gorgeous! I put my foundation on and then I started with applying some white powder (you can use white eyeshadow, baby powder, etc) to get a pale finish. I took dark, bloodred eyeshadow and put it all over my upper and lower lid and blended it out really strong so that it looks like the skin of vampires in movies. Then I used eyeliner to draw a line around my eye and put on mascara. This was the easy part. After that I tried to draw my brows with the black pencil like a turned and streched 'V', you know, to make my look more fierce and evil. And last but not least I colored my lips. That was the most difficult piece of my work because I have no bloodred lipstick. I used my "Soft Mat Lipcream" and combined it with the black pencil which I mixed with water. Of course you can use any other lipstick, I just had to make it this way.

And the last style is inspired by "Corpse Bride", I think this is a cartoon character. I saw that quite often during my research! That was the most difficult look I have ever made. I really thought it would be simple, but hell no. I started as always with my foundation, but I didn't use my powder, I used blue eyeshadow to apply on my whole face which was a bit annoying because it did not really work. Anyway I continued with the eyes. I used a white makeup pencil to draw a big circle around my eyes. I neither applied mascara nor eyeliner etc. I filled out the whole area around my eyes with that white pencil. Then I took a kind of dark blue/lilac eyeshadow and started to apply it above the circle up to my eyebrows (which was about 1 cm wide). I lined the circle around with eyeliner and drew lashes to it. I used the black pencil to paint the brows in the characteristic shape and also for the eyes to draw the pupil. I used dark blue eyeshadow to apply as blush. My lips were colored with pink lipstick and gloss. And I also put a blue flower into my hair.

I hope I could inspire you for your Halloween look! Let me know how you liked it!

Halloween Makeup N°. 1

Hey guys, tomorrow is Halloween! I was bored and thought of doing some kind of scary, creepy makeup for Halloween. First I was searching for some ideas on the internet, but, tbh, I haven't found really amazing convincing breath-taking pictures so I created my own by comparing a few!
First of all I want to say that the pictures I am using are mine, so, you are not allowed to use them as well, unless you ask me and I agree! Secondly I want to add that I am not a professional makeup artist, but I tried to apply the sort of masks as good as I can. And thirdly, I am sure that not everyone will agree with the makeup or the function of it, sorry for that. I still think you will find more makeup ideas for Halloween on the world wide web ;)

The first makeup style is rather a simple one. I applied my usual foundation (concealer, mousse makeup and powder). As you can see in the picture above I colored my lips in red-to-black with a black and a red pencil. I will tell you more about it later. Also I used blush to highlight my cheeks in a pinky shade. For my eyes I took black mascara, black kajal to line my inner lid and eyeliner with which I only lined my upper lid. I colored my eyelid kind of smokey (with white, silver and black eyeshadow which I blended out). And last but not least I painted some red fake-tears under my eyes, which should be blood.

I was using:
  • "Soft Compact Powder" - 1 Naturelle (Manhattan)
  • "Soft Touch Mousse Make-Up" - 04 matt ivory (essence)
  • "2in1 Concealer & Fixing Powder" - 32 warm honey (Manhattan)
  •  " I ♥ Extreme - Volume Mascara" - black (essence)
  • "Soft Mat Lipcream" - 45H (Manhattan). I used this for inner part of my lips.
  • "Coca Cola Vanilla" (LipSmacker, as a base for my lips)
  • "Freaky Friday Lipgloss" - 46A (Manhattan). I took this as a blush, it is high pigmented!
  • "Dip Eyeliner Waterproof" - 1010N black (Manhattan)
  • "Khol Kajal Eyeliner" - 1010N black (Manhattan)
  • Powder brush, blush brush and three different eyeshadow brushes
  • Eyeshadow in white, silver and black (Markwins International)
  • "Colour Grip" - black and red (Faber Castell). These are pencils but you can make them liquid with water. The black I took for my lips and the red for the bloody tears. Be careful with water after applying!
I hope you like this style and I'm going to post the other ones in a little time! :)

CALZEDONIA - Moonlight

It's getting colder everyday and tonight it was snowing for the first time this so called winter! I am like in the worst mood ever (it has personal reasons), so I'm not really in a mood to write an extra long post, but of course I wanted to show you the nail polish I've got as a gift by Calzedonia! By the way, I've seen an advertisement spot on Polish TV on Monday, i'll add a link to it, as long as I find it on the internet.
Well, as already said the nail polish is very gorgeous, it shimmers in a few different colors, but I have to admit that it is not possible to see every shade of it on the photos!
I personally got "Moonlight" by Calzedonia, a dark green nail polish with dark purple and brown accents.
(The rights to the following four pictures reserve to me, so please ask me before usage!)

It came with this sweet package :)
Tell me your opinions! Would you wear it? Or do you dislike such a color?

Top10 - Songs on my mp3-player :)

I am really really sorry for the fact that I haven't posted anything for like three weeks, but I'm very busy due to school and I have less opportunities to write post on a computer/laptop so I thought of writing them on my phone and editing them at school (my PC is veeeeeery slowly and my sister doesn't allow me to use her laptop anymore). When I have lessons until 5 p.m. I can of course work on the computers in the school library, so as far as I don't need a whole hour to for example do research for homework I can edit my posts and publish them. But I will basically write them on my phone :)
I hope you still read my blog regularly and I'm again sorry that the last contribution on my blog was posted on the 1st of October!
So, today I'm going to write about music. I am the total opposite of a "very latest songs" listener, I usually neither watch TV nor listen to the radio and that's why I often present older songs. I also do that, because some of them aren't that known and of course I can tell you a bit more when I like the songs and have listened to them for a bigger amount of time.
Today my list's called "Top10 songs on my mp3-player".
You know, I am a great fan of Lady Gaga, The Pretty Reckless, Nirvana, etc. but I listen to a wide selection of music genres. And now I'll summarize ten songs I love listening to atm :)
  1. Lana Del Rey - Ride
  2. Asaf Avidan and the Mojos - One Day Reckoning Song (Wankelmut Remix)
  3. Nirvana - Rape Me
  4. Rihanna - Where Have You Been
  5. Leighton Meester - Your Love's a Drug
  6. Brodka - Varsovie
  7. Kerli - The Creatonist
  8. A Day To Remember - All I Want
  9. Taylor Momsen and Paul Barker - Victory
  10. Birdy - Skinny Love
Lana Del Rey - an icon of music, fashion and soon even movies. A fact whose evidence is her newly released music video for "Ride". I seriously suggest you to watch it, it is a masterpiece. Lana's music videos represent freedom, fun and passion. Every video's the same but so different at the same time. She expresses the terms freedom, fun and passion in several ways, once with men, then with riding or driving till dark another time with money or with video games. I believe she is way more than talented and you can see that in her touching songs and stunning videos. And, to come back to "Ride", it is a wonderful song about being free, having fun and living out your passion. And Lana showed it also in the music vid in which she obviously is free and lives out her passion with men and has kind of fun. "Ride" is my favorite song and music video (followed by "Summertime Sadness") by Lana!
The next song is rather a older one, but I don't know it that long. That is actually because of the fact that I never watch TV or listen to other music than on YouTube. So as I was on a date and we got to his house to watch a bit TV and rest he asked me if I know this song and then he played the record and I fell in love like suddenly. I love the style of this song, the melody, the lyrics (they aren't that difficult to remember) and well, the whole song. It is a sort of freedom, independence, fun, love, etenity, party song and that is what I love. And there is one thing to add: the music video is as great as the song. I mean, that would be my kind of dreamlife :) Oh and it's "One Day" by Asaf Avidan and The Mojos!
I really like Nirvana, like I am a big fan of them and it's sad that they don't exist anymore. I grew up with some of their songs and Kurt Cobain is an icon, he achieved so much. And when I was in Düsseldorf the other day I bought two CDs by Nirvana, "In Utero" and "Incesticide" and I am really glad, those were the last ones by Nirvana and although I only knew two or three songs it was absolutely worth buying them! And as you may already know, "In Utero" contains "Rape Me". It is an exellent song and the lyrics are kind of twisted or strange (rape - friend) but that is exactly the thing I love about songs: being strange, with a contrast in, kind of mixed, different and crazy. I highly recommend you to listen to "Rape Me" and even "In Utero" which is a breath-taking album!
Fourth song and I already wrote reams :) But I'll go on and now Rihanna's song "Where Have You Been" is having a turn. I have to confess that it is a old song but I still love it and I've listened to it today so yes, I guess you already know a lot about this song, but never the less I'll still share my opinion about it to you. I do think that Rihanna is a marvelous artist. Her records are always stunning, her videos are fantastique and she herself is a strong, sexy woman. And that's why she is so popular I think. So "Where Have You Been" is an amazing song/vid and to me it's also a catchy song, like, I'm singing it in my head right now even though I only listened to it once today. Listen to and love it!
The next song is by actress Leighton Meester which is known as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl (I had to google it because I don't watch Gossip Girl, but I think a few of you will know her). Since April 2009 she also makes music and "Your Love's a Drug" was published on March 30, 2010. I know it for a few weeks, I was listening to "The Pretty Reckless Radio" on and it was played there and I was floored by Leighton's record. I don't know if there is any video to it but anyway her voice is gorgeous, the lyrics are stunning and well, because I got to know that she sings and that she has a beautiful voice I searched for a few other songs which are also very recommendful!
Next song is "Varsovie" by Monica Brodka, also known as Brodka. She is a Polish singer and won the casting show Idol (like Britain's Got Talent or America's Idol) in 2004. And "Varsovie" is the latest record published on April 23, 2012. I kind of love this song because, as you can guess, it is about Warsaw the capital of Poland and since I was born in Poland every Polish thing gets a bonus right away. It is her first English song and I think that made her popular. Also VIVA uses her song for their advertisement campaign. While the lyrics are about Warsaw and that she loves the city because it's special even though it's not really bright or "sparkling", the video is rather about food. Yes, in the vid there is food everywhere, idk if it's ment to be like that but it was catching. All in all a brilliant song, listen to it!
Kerli is an adorable, pretty and talented singer from Estonia known since the release of her song "Walking On Air" in 2008 which was esablished in Germany and other international countries. I don't know why but I don't have "Walking On Air" on my mp3-player, but "The Creationist" is on it. It is a lovely song about a "old poem", the melody is rather not that freaky like you know from other songs by her and the lyrics are touching and still cute. I know this song like for ages because I bought Kerli's album as a gift for my sister but never realized its brilliancy. And today I've listened to it again and it was like the first time that I understood the lyrics and the meaning of the song. It is touching and I recommend it to you :)
The next song I know since Whitsun, or to say it better I heard this song the first time on Whitsun and then a good friend of mine, THORONDIR's guitarist, told me the artist and the title. And I couldn't get enough of this record (it's "All I Want" by A Day To Remember) at first but I have to confess after listening to it like a million times I was at the point where I couldn't play it another time. But now I do love the song again and it revives memories and feelings of former times. Since knowing who is the artist I listen to more records by them, but tbh "All I Want" is my favorite!
My back hurts, I'm sitting two hours in front of my PC already :( But blogging is my passion so I'll go on! If you read my blog you should know that I love Taylor Momsen/The Pretty Reckless. And the next tune is by the gorgeous Taylor Momsen and Paul Barker! "Victory" is a deep record with profound lyrics and Taylor's strong, agressive voice. I really love it, it is a breath-taking collaboration with stunning guitar solos. All in all a successful project, which is the soundtrack of "FIX: The Ministry Movie".
And the last song is "Skinny Love" by Birdy, as far as I know it is the soundtrack of one of the episodes of Vampire Diaries, but don't be mad if it is not. Anyway, it is a beautiful, deep and kind of sad song whose lyrics are perfectly wonderful and also the video is a masterpiece. I guess it's one of those sort of videos which really express what the lyrics say. I also suggest you to listen to her whole album called "Birdy", it is absolutely brilliant!

I hope you've read through the whole text, I mean it is not that long, I could've written it even longer, but my back hurts really bad and I want to post it today.
One more aspect I want to add: I made an effort for real and that's because I want to improve my posts. My teacher told me that I can achieve even more with this and this motivated me (btw, greetings to Mr. Bartmann, maybe you'll read it someday!). I will try to post more with the policy I told you before. And I hope I gain more followers and views. But most certainly I love blogging and I hope you love my blog! :)

My trip to Düsseldorf

I'm at school waiting for my date and I have nothing to do so I'll post sth. Frankly I have got internet at school and isn't banned. :)
I was out and about in Dusseldorf for eight days (September 1, 2012 - September 8, 2012) and got a fabulous promotional gift from "Calzedonia" on VOGUE's Fashion Night Out (September 7th, 2012). To be honest I don't know a lot about this store, it has sth to do with fashion (obviously), its headquarters are in Italy and I got a nail polish and a glass of champagne for free there. They had three different colors, a gold, dark green and some kind of purple nail polish. I wanted the purple one but unfortunately I only had the choice between gold and green, so I decited to take green (I'm absolutely not a fan of gold, idky). My twinsister got gold and she really likes it, guess, she loves gold. And I also like the green one I've chosen, it shimmers in dark green, brown and kind of lilac accents, it looks wonderful. I still don't have a picture of it, but I'll add one in a few days. So, all in all, it was a great night and you could get champagne everywhere that evening, every store was opened until late night and everywhere were balloons which you could also get as a little gift. I had fun with my sister walking through the streets, seeing all the stores at night!

Maybe I'll tell a bit more about my trip to Düsseldorf, but atm I  barely have time because of school and all that stress that is accompanied by school. I try to post some more articles this month but I can't promise I will do. Anyway, I hope you have a great week!

New obsession: Daphne Groeneveld.

Daphne Groeneveld, a still 17 year old Dutch model born on December 24, 1994, is known since appearing on the December/January 2010/11 VOGUE Paris cover. Since then she was inclueded to several campaigns, such as Miu Miu Eyewear F/W 10, Givenchy S/S 11, Versace for H&M F/W 11, Louis Vuitton F/W 11, Calvin Klein Sheer Beauty Fragrance S/S 12 and Dior Addict Perfume. She was also seen in many runway shows, for example Dior, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, John Galliano, Prada, Versace, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, etc. I really love her lips, they are definetely the first thing that comes into my mind, when I hear her name. Below I'll put some pictures of her :)
(I do not own any of the pictures, please contact me when there are issues me using them.)

My latest obsession: nude & lace.
The brand that gives me what I want: Biondini.
Where I can buy them: for example, or search for Biondini on the internet.
What's so special about them: they look really precious and fashionable.
With this word I would describe them: perfection.

Lady Gaga Fame

Lady Gaga will release her fragrance called "Lady Gaga Fame" in American Macy's stores on August 22, 2012 (that's today in a week) and later in September she's going to share the perfume with the whole world through her Haus Laboratories label. It has a texture as blood and semen, which formerly created rumors that her fragrance would smell like the aforementioned substances. But in fact, its notes are honey, Tiger Orchid, apricot, Jasmine Sambac, saffron, Deadly Nightshade and incence. On the packaging the following sentence is written:
"Tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops"

The tagline already tells that it is going to be the first black-colored perfume, but it will spray clear and turn "invisible once airborne".
"The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum"

The perfume is not going to have a top, iddle and base not, but it's going to have a dark (Deadly Nightshade), a sensual (honey, saffron and apricot notes) and a light accord (Tiger Orchid and Jasmine Sambac), which creates a floral, fruity scent.

The advertising poster (picture above), which was compared to the movie "Gulliver's Travels", was directed and photographed by Steven Klein. The bottle, which you can see below, is simple and has a golden cap on (which I think looks like a robot or alien hand) and was designed by Lady Gaga nad Nick Knight. Lady Gaga herself calls her creation "Le Masterpiece".

I really want to know how this fragrance smells, so I can't wait for her to release it in Europe, too. I definetely going to buy a bottle of it, not only because it is by Lady Gaga. I really want to smell it and well, kind of prove her skills at making a perfume :) One more thing which is interesting is the consistence and structure, I mean, I want to see how it works going from black to invisible!

What is your opinion about Lady Gaga's first perfume? Tell me in a comment below! :)

Nail Polish - Some Pattern

I've seen a lot of different nail art pictures with several pattern. And so I wanted to show you three of them! The ones I have chosen for this post are floral print, leopard pattern and lace design. They all look fantastique, so let's start!
(I do not own any of these pictures, I found them via google images, contact me, if you're the owner!)

I love floral print, it looks so fancy, nice and it's just a fashion thing! I've already seen some like stickers for your nails with flowers on, but I'm sure, you can also do them on your own, if you're a bit practiced and have this kind of really thin nail polish brushes or nair art pens. The following pictures were the best ones I could've find!

Leopard patter is one of the most controversial or disputed pattern, some people are telling it's fashionalbe and other people say that it's way too old and not en vogue anymore, but I like it though. You can easily do it on your own, you just need a kind of gold or yellow nail polish, a black or dark brown nail art pen and a picture with leopard pattern to copy it on your nails. You can also use different nail polish shades to make it a bit more colorful!

Nude nails do look very precious, especially when you have long nails. And nude nails with lace design do look even more precious! I really want to try them, I've already seen stickers, but I want to try them on my own and maybe then I'll do a DIY post how to do lace nail art :) Below are two pictures with really pretty types of these nail art. Enjoy it!
